Whizzing past me as I rush along
snaps, flicker and flashes of recall
laurels, loss and love of lore
to pause they beckon, but I race to fall
Turning back I see, a wreath of memory
faces, tears and choices to be
where am I, where was I to sleep
For I now stand alone, at a place no longer me
snaps, flicker and flashes of recall
laurels, loss and love of lore
to pause they beckon, but I race to fall
Turning back I see, a wreath of memory
faces, tears and choices to be
where am I, where was I to sleep
For I now stand alone, at a place no longer me
